OAKLAND, Calif. -- Nope, Stephen Curry didnt know the last time Golden State dropped two in a row during the regular season.Draymond Green? Negative.Thats because its been quite a while: April 2015, to be exact.Lets see, I think it was my second year in the league. My third year? Green pondered. We didnt lose two in a row last year. The Warriors realize how remarkable it is, that brilliant, NBA-best ability to bounce back. You bet, this bunch gets mad about losing.Curry scored 20 of his 31 points in the third quarter and Golden State ran its NBA-record streak of regular season games without consecutive losses to 106 by beating the Phoenix Suns 138-109 on Saturday night. Were a bunch of real pros. We dont have letups that often, but when we do we respond the best we can, Klay Thompson said. I thought tonight was a perfect example of that. I dont know how long we can keep that streak alive. Its really impressive, Im not going to lie. Its something were really proud of because it shows the world that we respond when we have an off night. The other night was one of those and tonight we made up for it.Curry hit five 3-pointers and Thompson added 26 points and a season-high six 3s. Kevin Durant had 20 points and eight assists and Green a season-best 13 assists to go with nine points for Golden State, which hasnt lost back-to-back games during the regular season since April 2015 to San Antonio and New Orleans during its championship season.Theres a resiliency to our team but obviously in this league anything can happen, Curry said. So for us to be able to correct mistakes and find ways to bounce back quickly and not have multiple games in a row where you dont show up to play says a lot about the character we have on this team. The Warriors beat Phoenix for the 10th straight time, the longest winning streak by either team in the series, and 11th in a row at home.Eric Bledsoe scored 13 of his 27 points in the second quarter and Devin Booker had 21 points for the Suns, who had no answer for Golden States 62.8-percent shooting and a 66.7-percent clip from long range (14 of 21).Golden State has three 20-point scorers in four consecutive games for the first time since Feb 10-21, 2009.The Warriors bounced back from a wild double-overtime defeat to Houston on Thursday night that snapped their 12-game winning streak -- tied for third-longest in franchise history.Warriors forward David West reached double-digit scoring for the first time with 10 points and JaVale McGee had 11 off the bench, helping Golden State follow a defeat with a victory for the 13th time in such scenarios. This marked the third meeting of the season already for the rivals, and now they wont play again until April. The Warriors also topped Phoenix at home 133-120 on Nov. 13.Youre playing obviously the best team in basketball right now, Suns coach Earl Watson said. Theyre the best scorers in the world.TRIBUTE TO FIRE VICTIMSA moment of silence was held for the victims of a nearby warehouse fire. At least nine people were killed by the blaze less than three miles from the arena, and the Warriors announced theyre donating $50,000 to support families of the victims. The Oakland Raiders late Saturday pledged to match up to $30,000 in contributions on the YouCaring.com page established by the Athletics.I want to start out today offering our condolences to the victims of the Oakland fire, Kerr said before the game . Just a devastating tragedy right here in the East Bay. Its hard to comprehend. ...Were all devastated today.TIP-INSSuns: Watson was hit with a technical at the 5:45 mark of the first quarter for arguing. ... The Suns dropped to 3-9 on the road and 1-7 in away games against the Western Conference.Warriors: Curry had his seventh 30-point performance and Thompson had his 11th 20-point game. ... The Warriors scored 100 or more points for the 19th time in 20 games.UP NEXTSuns: At Utah on Tuesday night. The Jazz swept the Suns 4-0 last season for the first time since 1999-2000 (4-0).Warriors: Golden State concludes its five-game homestand by hosting former star Monta Ellis and Indiana on Monday night, having won two straight and four of five against Nate McMillans Pacers. The Warriors then have five road games in seven days. Joc Pederson Dodgers Jersey . The nimble-footed quarterback got his wish, dashing through the snow and a weary defence all the way into the NCAA record book. Kenta Maeda Jersey . Anthony Davis had 31 points and 17 rebounds in his seventh straight game with more than 20 points, but that was only enough to keep the Pelicans competitive into the final minutes. Andrew Bogut had 10 points and 15 rebounds for Golden State, which rebounded from a loss a night earlier in Oklahoma City and snapped a two-game skid. http://www.dodgerssale.com/dodgers-a-j-pollock-jersey/ . It might not have mattered. While the Dodgers are preparing for the playoffs, the Padres showed their future has promise behind two rookies. Kenley Jansen Dodgers Jersey . -- Ken Appleby made 32 saves for his first shutout of the season to lead the Oshawa Generals to a 2-0 win over the Belleville Bulls on Wednesday in Ontario Hockey League action. Rich Hill Dodgers Jersey . The Australian is competing in his final season in Formula One and still looking for his first win this year. He will look to end Vettels run of six straight race wins on Sunday. Webber, who is fifth in the championship, earned his second pole from the past three races and 13th of his career. Week 3 is the kind of lineup that could throw the College Football Playoff contenders into the air just to see where they land.Several one-loss teams, namely Oklahoma, Notre Dame and Ole Miss, are facing must-win situations. But there are also games that could start a chain reaction of chaos. Heres a look at how each conference could be impacted by the biggest games of the week:PAC-12Potential chaos: USC beats StanfordThats all it would take to start a tailspin of confusion in the Pac-12 pecking order. USC was manhandled and embarrassed in its season opener against defending national champ Alabama, but everything is still on the table as far as the Pac-12 title goes. The Trojans could get right back into the CFP conversation, and the committee wouldnt leave out a one-loss Pac-12 champ with a lone loss to Alabama in the opener. (Granted, USC wont win the Pac-12 if it plays against Stanford the way it did against Bama). Stanfords season has typically been a reflection of the outcome of its game against USC. A win last year was parlayed into a Pac-12 title. A loss in 2014 sank Stanford into a five-loss season. After finishing No. 6 last year, David Shaws crew knows how tough it is to crack the top four as a two-loss team. With back-to-back road trips to UCLA and Washington looming, plus a trip to Notre Dame on Oct. 15, Stanford needs to win its home games.ACCPotential chaos: A three-way tie in the Atlantic DivisionThe scenario: Louisville beats FSU, Clemson beats Louisville, and FSU beats Clemson. (Scratching your head? The selection committee will be, too.) If Louisville is for real -- and who really knows after routs against Charlotte and Syracuse -- the ACCs Atlantic Division race could be a jumbled mess of one-loss teams, with Clemson, Louisville and FSU all playing each other. It starts Saturday, when No. 2 Florida State travels to Louisville, a game that features the two new Football Power Index favorites to win the ACC. Should the Cards win, FSU will need to hope Clemson fares better and beats Louisville, but the Noles then couldnt afford to lose at home to Clemson. Head-to-head results are one of the criteria the selection committee considers when evaluating comparable teams, but this chaos might also be the leagues best hope at having two teams in the CFP.SECPotential chaos: Alabama loses at Ole Miss and Auburn beats Texas A&MIf that happens, the SEC West will enter Week 4 with six of its seven teams already having a loss (assuming Arkansas starts 3-0 after a win against Texas State). Oh, its possible. Ole Miss has beaten Alabama in each of the past two seasons, and while that hasnt kept the Tide out of the playoff, a loss to Ole Miss this year would definitely put the pressure on throughout the rest of the season, especially if Auburn finds a way to enter the conversation.dddddddddddd The Tigers lost a close one to Clemson, but that has zero impact on their SEC title chances, and any team with a shot to win the SEC has a chance at the committees top four. Auburn still has a lot to prove but seems to have found its offensive identity with Sean White at quarterback. ESPNs FPI is basically considering this one a toss-up, projecting Auburn with a 54.5 percent chance to beat A&M.BIG TENPotential chaos: Michigan State and Ohio State both lose nonconference games this weekMichigan State had a bye week to prepare for its road trip to Notre Dame, but ESPNs FPI gives the Spartans only a 22.1 percent chance to win in South Bend. No. 3 Ohio State is playing its first ranked opponent of the season after two lopsided wins against Bowling Green and Tulsa. Saturday should provide more answers about both Big Ten teams, but if they lose, one of them is guaranteed to finish the season with two losses, because they play each other Nov. 19 in East Lansing. That will most certainly provide Michigan some breathing room, assuming, of course, the Wolverines are undefeated heading into that Oct. 29 game at Michigan State. No. 9 Wisconsin might have something to say about that, though, on Oct. 1 in Ann Arbor.BIG 12Potential chaos: Oklahoma loses to Ohio StateOklahoma State has lost. TCU has lost. OU has lost. If the Sooners lose again this weekend, all eyes turn to Texas as the Big 12s best hope for a playoff contender, if it isnt already. After starting the season with a loss to Houston, Oklahoma has no margin for error Saturday against Ohio State. According to FPI, there is an 80 percent chance the Big 12 champ has two or more losses, up from 36 percent in the preseason. Thats a problem only because the Big 12s title game isnt in place until 2017, so a two-loss champ wouldnt have that extra game against a ranked opponent to help compensate for the second loss.OTHERSPotential chaos: Notre Dame and Houston both win outIf either loses, that team is likely out of the College Football Playoff, but what if both win out? It would present the selection committee with the option of leaving out three Power 5 conferences from its top four in favor of American champ Houston and the independent Irish. Want to combine two chaos scenarios? How about Louisville wins the ACC but loses to Houston? ' ' '
